I lead quite a stressful life and wanted to see if meditation would help me in any way. I first went to Yvonne to learn about meditation and to see what it could bring to my life. I have always thought that meditation might be a good way for me to manage my stress, but I didn’t think that I could do it. I just didn’t think that my brain was made to be calm.
Yvonne dispelled the meditation myths and made me view it in a much simpler way. She showed me that everyone can (and should) meditate. Through this process, she helped me realise that “thoughts” don’t need to become “worries”, how to think about the moment rather than the future and past. This has really, really helped me be better at managing stress.
I didn’t just learn how to meditate, I also learned how to look at things in a different way.
So when I finished my sessions with Yvonne, I really felt that I have some tools that I will use now and in the future so that I can look after my little brain! It’s made a huge difference to my sleep patterns and the stress I hold physically as well.

I realised I needed to chill out a bit, and Yvonne's weekly meditation class was an opportunity to relax, take time out for myself, and reflect on the pressures of everyday life. Something I've taken away from the course is the ability to concentrate on myself 'in the moment', to disguise any underlying worries or thoughts in my head. "Yvonne's Meditation Course is, if you pardon the metaphor, a wonderful Transit Lounge to prepare for the flight to Meditation.
In a comfortable and cheerful atmosphere we were led through a smorgasboard of meditations techniques, so that we can choose one or many for our journey into a practice of regular meditation.I thought it was well suited for absolute beginners, or even the curious-but-not-yet-committed. I found it a catalyst to resume a practice I'd discontinued. I'd encourage friends to even ask her to go over the various benefits and effects of Meditation, which I found she explains really well.

"Late last year prior to being diagnosed with a serious lifelong condition, I was 173 cm tall physically and over 2 metres tall emotionally. Following that diagnosis while still 173 tall physically; my emotional height had shrunk to less than 1 metre.
